Naga Stole My Book Series, and Other Thoughts

I wanted to give some insight on this month's upcoming Patreon Rewards. Originally this month's reward was simply meant to be a short story with the key concepts of 'snake' and 'hypnosis,' due to Chinese New Year and my own desire to write some hypnosis-themed stories. However, as I got into deciding what the characters, setting, and plot of this short story would be like my mind drifted to my future intentions.
As many know, my inevitable goal is to be a novelist, and producing a book series. As I got to designing the main character for this short story, I realized he'd be an exceptional addition to the book series I am intending. An alternate future where transformation has run rampant, evolved humans have oppressive control, and individuals who are passably human have some particular advantages in this new society. The character I've designed is inspired by a snake -- passably human, but what hides under that visor is enough to get him what he truly requires.
So, I thought for this month I would test drive this intended character for that book series via a short story to demonstrate his abilities. Apologies, I'll miss the holiday, but the spirit is still there. I do hope people like Naga, and welcome him into the CyberGenesis mythos I am going to be cultivating over time. And, no, his look is not inspired by a cyclist...
I've also got another hypnosis story planned, though whether or not I'll include part of that for this month's rewards depends on whether or not I get it started. I have done some considerable plotting for it, though. The setting is more modern, and follows the idea of a nerdy type getting hypnotized into being a catboy. I'm intending for this to be novella-length, around 30-40k words spread across five parts, so please look forward to it.
As for this month's 'Beyond the Vibe,' exclusive for Cyberwave tier, I was planning to give some more early insight on this intended book series, 'SynthWave.' Some of you may already know it from a short story series I'd written in 2023, and I am intending to expand that out into a full-scale book series. It'll take the story from a romance into a grand-scale sci-fi adventure. In preparation for Naga's story I have been doing a lot of worldbuilding over this past weekend, and I am so excited to start introducing these concepts, and gain feedback.
