Awkward
So, I googled "MAUS", and...well...not to get into specifics, but let's just say the result has me feeling incredibly awkward. An innocent mistake on my part, but...yeah, is my face red or what?
Needless to say, I need a new title. Any suggestions? This is about a modern mouse girl who escapes and resolves her troubles in a medieval fantasy world inside her mind.
Just...not...that. Yeah. Sorry. =_=

FA+

(I saw the cursed cover)
Hmmm.... are you still hoping to have it be a short, punchy name or are you open to longer ones? Because given the fantasy/reality theme, I'm thinking a play on "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" could work.
Sorry, lost it for a second there. HOO BOY
Did not realize there is a book with a concerning symbol of the same name.
Maybe something like Swords In The Mirror?
"Luch" or "luiche" (both variants of the same word, pronounced "luh" or "loh" depending on dialect) for mouse, or a related phrase "luchóg" ("luhHAWG," "luhHOAG") which translates to "mouse-ear," referring to mouse-ear hawkweed (which looks similar and is related to dandelions). If you want to work in the "escape" angle, you might even try incorporating "poll" (pronounced either "pUHl" or "pOWl") for "poll luiche," meaning "mouse-hole." I'm not a native speaker, though, this was just from about twenty minutes of research.
sorta like D&D
It's meant to show kids what the holocaust was about (hence why it's considered a banned book in the US), but the unsettling atmosphere is the point.
I didn't want to say anything since I figured it was a coincidence on your part, but yeah, a name change is probably for the best.
could probably try Mous if you don't want to change too much
As for now titles? Mighty mice? Through the mouse hole?
