No means for cleaning up or lengthy driving, especially with as little gas and the Subaru being in questionable running condition. Besides, the days when your could be hired the day you apply are long gone, since it takes a minimum of 2 weeks for your background check and drug test to go through.

You should at least try. There are jobs that don't care if you're not cleaned up, and that 2 weeks would be over by now if an application was put in 2 weeks ago. Don't let minor things be an impassible barrier to you.

Meanwhile I have been told to try getting to Al Fishbeck's place, another cross country drive, in a barely functional car. Doubt I can manage it with zero money. Or hope. This is how people go under, handed a cinder block or others munching popcorn.

Food banks ! Rest stops for showers and grooming not impossible. And if would post the scans by photographing w phone like we’ve superstar for few months you could have had bites. Or get a job like even offering to
Wash a car or carry someone’s groceries if they can give a meal. We’ve given you countless resources to do and try to help.
