Any tips on making a zoroark anthro? I'm not as familiar with their abilities, and don't have easy access to watching episodes of the anime. I know they can disguise themselves, but what other offensive and illusion abilities are needed?
What would you use them for to make unique scenarios as both a pred and a prey in a vore roleplay?
What would you use them for to make unique scenarios as both a pred and a prey in a vore roleplay?
As for a pred scene~ Gosh so many~ Making the prey think they are having the most amazing time of there life before being tucked away in a cozy Zoro inside! Prey~ could make the pred think they are having the most favorite meal or something like that but it turns out it was the Zoro the whole time
One idea I had was that she enjoy karaoke and does some singing at local restaurants and such. She isn't actually that good but her illlusuons grease the wheels and possibly hide her stomach as the small audience begins to go missing
In addition to being able to disguise itself in any way it wants, it can also make illusions changing the appearance of the terrain around it! And it seems like it can change the sound of its voice at will as well.
Its signature move is Night Daze, which is described as a pitch black shock wave and can lower opponents' accuracy.
As for other moves it learns, there is a limited selection of notable moves it learns naturally. Nasty Plot is the most important, a big boost to its Special Attack. Also learns Taunt to prevent status moves, U-Turn a Bug type move to attack then retreat, Agility to boost speed, and Foul Play to attack using the opponent's attack stat.
It also learns a variety of useful moves via TM or Move Tutor. The most commonly used by far is Flamethrower. It can also learn focus blast, sludge bomb, psychic, will-o-wisp, pain split, and more.
Since you can only use 4 moves at a time in game, the most common movesets are the following:
Nasty Plot offense:
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse/Night Daze
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
Double Setup:
- Nasty Plot
- Agility
- Dark Pulse/Night Daze
- Flamethrower
Fast Utility:
- Foul Play
- Will-o-wisp
- Taunt
- U-turn
There are more variations but that should give you a good idea of what it generally does. It is naturally fast and it's illusion can give it a free turn to use a boosting move if it tricks the opponent well enough!
I like the idea of making her a D&D warlock BTW! The Mask of Many Faces invocation fits a Zoroark's abilities perfectly!
Being immune to statuses is fun as I prefer my characters not get mind tricks, mind control, etc used on em, and a big pred giving their hips a confident shake or slap is always fun.
It sounds like it's not much of a direct bruiser, yeah? Flighty and tricksy, so in more direct confrontations if her illusions fail she is in trouble (an in for prey scenes)
Any non-natural moves I'm going to steer away from because I'm much more familiar with your average DnD 5e spell like eldritch blast.
Night Daze has 85 Power, which is basically just solid power. It's definitely not a particularly powerful move, but it's certainly not weaker than necessary for a main source of damage. But yeah its a fairly generic energy attack and it would be Zoroark's strongest move by default. In-game Zoroark very much relies on boosting it's special attack with nasty plot to deal big damage.
If you specifically want weaker moves for tricking/incapacitation, Zoroark also naturally learns Knock Off which gets rid of the opponent's held item (and deals damage), and Night Slash which is just a weaker dark move.
I love how she would use Taunt here, that's both a very good way to tie in a pokemon move's effects, and just a fun visual in general!
And yes you are correct, Zoroark is not a particularly heavy hitter. It can use its speed to finish off weakened opponents or disrupt their strategy, or it can abuse illusion trickery to give it time to boost its stats and become threatening. But in that case if the opponent predicts/sees through the illusion, yeah Zoroark isn't particularly bulky and may go down to one strong hit.
And it sounds like a prolonged fight stuck in the illusions gives them time to get their attack placed well, but if she's busy getting punched in the face it's not a good time to be a zoro over say a fighting type.
And yes I agree, Zoroark isn't tough enough to stick around in prolonged fights. It relies on trickery to buy itself time, and it can do a lot with that, but once the jig is up it needs to either end the fight quickly or get out of there!
(A fighting type would be particularly nasty for it since fighting is strong against dark!)
I think I've got a solid plan then. I'll probably give her a weaker stomach so there's some room for cheeky partial escapes and such
Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any more questions!
