I'm on BlueSky now!
TL;DR: Follow me on BlueSky! Also I have a LinkTree now.
---
I don't really have much social media presence. And it's quite a chore to keep all of them up to date. Especially with each having their own unique problems when uploading things...
e621 only supports WebM and asks for a huge amount of tags.
Creating threaded posts on Twitter/X (which I use for putting model and audio credits) errors most of the time.
Newgrounds' community seems to have a dislike for videos without audio, which makes up a majority of my content.
And for FA, having to convert videos to a thumbnail image or a short GIF. (This is the main reason why uploads on here are delayed or missing at times, I am so sorry!)
So I wasn't looking forward to maintaining yet another account on a new platform. But with how things at Twitter/X are developing, I've been asked a few times about moving to BlueSky.
I've made an account a while back, and I think I am finally feeling ready to start actively posting on it.
For now, I don't think I can call it my "main" platform of choice, since it seems like videos have far tighter limits regarding size and length. But I hope that these limits will improve over time, and for now I'll have to make do with editing my videos to fit these constraints, linking to external sites for the full version like I'm doing on here also.
For the record, I also won't leave Twitter/X behind completely just yet. Posting on there is by far the easiest, out of all places, and I can imagine many people are only following me on there.
Another change I'll try to get going is using Postybirb. I want to see if it makes the process of posting on multiple platforms easier for me at all.
But as it appears to be more image-focused in its tooling, there are likely no functions to cut/compress/convert videos built into it, which would've been the largest time saver.
Finally, I've made a LinkTree to have all of my online presence accessible in one place.
That's all! :>
P.S. regarding my animation work: I'm still out of the game for the next few months...
I only wanted to get this whole topic out of the way, but have no time to animate as it stands.
