I'll probably be going back through my uploads, and for any future uploads, and upscaling them with waifu2x because of the small resolution I draw in. If anybody wants the original resolution captures they will be unedited in the Mega archive.
on further evaluation i wouldn't be happy with the upscaled output.
I draw on a very large canvas and when I'm drawing it's often on a small part and the whole page just gets filled with drawings over time.
I also just like drawing at that resolution.
It’s quite possible that this will sound very stupid, but still.
You can enlarge the image without upscalers. If the resolution of the picture is not 200x300 of course.
You can simply resize the picture in any editor (photoshop, krita or something like that) (scale image to the new size),
then add sharpening (sharpen)
and then add blur (gaussian blur) by 1 or 2 pixels.
It works for me to double the resolution of the picture without artifacts
for the majority of images, an upscale with a slight amount of blur applied looks much better. although, linear upscaling ("resize") basically never looks good.
ultimately after comparing a larger number of images with the upscaling i wouldn't be happy with it, so I've decided against it either way.
I'd suggest not to. You lose a lot with upscalers in terms of detail, and you don't end up with that much better than what you already had. If you can re-export your art in larger resolutions, I.E., when your program asks what percentage you want to export at, that might be better.
I compared a larger number of images with the upscaled output, and while I think a loss of detail is not a problem at all with the software I suggested, ironically my art doesn't look right to me when over-sharpened so I would've had to blur them again anyways. and a few specific images have too much fine detail that comes out slightly aliased, which the upscaler makes look strange, so I dislike the inconsistency.
