Anthrocon hotels have become insane ; ;

I'm just mad because we had alarms set to be early TO BE EARLY
for hotel sign ups and literally while we were signing up, the site refreshed and put us on a waiting list that will essentially prevent us from getting convention hotel rates by tomorrow.
I also haven't attended a Con in 3 years.
Lol, does anyone have insights for how to do this? XD
Also yes- if you're going to Anthrocon this year we should stay in contact!

This year I decided to skip booking, as I had no hope of getting a room as a general attendee.
I wish cons like AC would hold lotteries for hotels, I hate the whole pay to win models cons have adopted over the last few years.
