Better Quest 2 link cable solution

Well time to confess. My previous post on this subject was incorrect. I did more experimenting and discover (what I believe is the real solution). So without further ado, let me present
Using Oculus Link Cable in VRCHAT
a research project by TimidGrizzly
PC:: Windows 10 Pro, 64bit, desktop PC with USB-3 port.
Oculus:: Quest 2 headset
LinkCable:: INU Oculus Link Cable
Free Steam Account
Starting from first time use.
Part One - getting Windows to recognize Quest
PC:: boot windows and logged in, all others program closed
Headset:: turn on
..Meta will load stuff
Headset:: confirm user, confirm boundary
USB cable:: connect to PC,
.. note: put headset on and get ready to click the "USB DETECTED" message
USB cable:: connect to Quest
Headset:: click the "USB DETECTED" message. You have 2-4 seconds.
DeviceManager:: check to make sure QUEST 2 is in PORTABLE DEVICES
Headset:: power down
Recognizing Quest in DeviceManager is a one-time operation.
Part Two - Connect Quest and PC in VRCHAT using Link Cable - FIRST TIME
PC:: boot Windows, logged in, DeviceManager recognizes Quest device (see Part One)
PC:: download & install META QUEST LINK app on PC

META QUEST LINK app on PC:: run
..Power on headset
..Add the QUEST device to META QUEST LINK app
..Quest device should show QUEST is "ACTIVE"
..Headset:: power down
..Quest device should show QUEST is "NOT CONNECTED"
SteamAccount:: login on PC, minimize window
Headset:: Power ON
..Meta will load stuff
Headset:: confirm user, confirm boundary
Headset:: Settings > Link > ENABLE > LAUNCH button > turn off AirLink
..DO NOT PC LAUNCH PC CONNECT AT THIS MOMENT
..Close Settings
LinkCable:: plug into PC
Headset:: put head set on and get ready to click "ENABLE LINK" message
LinkCable:: plug into headset (note: no Quest power module connected yet)
Headset:: Click "ENABLE LINK" message. You have 2-4 seconds.
META QUEST LINK app:: check that Quest device is "ACTIVE"
Headset:: Settings > Link > ENABLE > LAUNCH button > Launch PC connection
..make sure" PC CONNECTED" is showing
..Meta will load stuff
QuestPowerModule:: plug Quest power module into AC Power and into LinkCable
..Meta will load stuff
Headset:: click VRCHAT
Part Three - After the setup in Part One and Part Two, things become automatic for future sessions.
PC:: boot Windows, logged in
SteamAccount:: login on PC, minimize window
LinkCable:: connect to PC & connect to headset
Headset:: Power ON, confirm user, confirm boundary
..META QUEST LINK app auto starts on PC
..HEADSET: automatically connect to PC using the cable link
..You get the menu to start VRCHAT
QuestPowerModule:: plug Quest power module into AC Power and into LinkCable
