Wing's of fire OC species

Because my first OC, blade, was designed before wingsoffire, he was given a generic western dragon design.
But in the wings of fire univers, I am thinking blade and red are night-wing and sky-wing hybrids. The stocky night-wing body build, maybe even mind reading powers. With the scale colour and snout shape of a sky-wing.
What are your thoughts?
