Ah, I can see it looks like that from this journal. The raffle was a free art giveaway (as prickles and chrysan described in much better detail than I ever could) that I hosted as a way to give back to this amazing community.

my thoughts exactly, I had a problem with gambling (screw you Genshin Impact and Cookie Run!!!) and with raffles there is no risk and no investment. you just may get lucky and receive something nice like a drawing from an artist for free, which is always nice!

Yeah i dont view anything that doesn’t require pay to win as actual gambling! The difference between giveaways and lotteries i think haha xD tho not all gambling is bad either, im a big fan of like… pokemon cards and blind boxes, it’s just all in good fun to me! Gambling is okay if done responsibly! Also heck yeah, Genshin impact and cookie run are great too hahah! Even if the gacha aspect is addicting as heck!

i used to play them a lot but they would take so much time daily and i would spend all my free money on it instead of saving it or buying something in real life so yeah gambling can be really dangerous and not everyone can control that process and be responsible. but there’s nothing like this with raffles and i enjoy throwing them too! and pokémon card are awesome but we barely had those in Ukraine and now in Bulgaria I also don’t see them so I play Pokemon TCPG instead hah

I had forgotten about Genshin! That game was some good fun. I need to get back on it and see what characters I had...

I need to get back into it too! There’s been a ton of updates since I played last 😂 I’m a bit intimidated to jump into something so high commitment!
