Spring Chit-Chat

Seems like I slept through the entire February!
I had a mountain of plans, and in the end… tomorrow is already March 1st? Whaaat?! That’s how it goes—you just want to nap for a bit while watching a series, and suddenly a whole month has flown by…
I don’t know which emoji to use here, but it should convey skepticism, surprise, and barely contained laughter all at once.
On the bright side, I got some good rest and recovered (I think: at least sadness and anxiety aren’t following me around every day anymore), and in the end, even one and a half full-fledged artworks in a month is better than nothing at all (sketches don’t count, but they still make me happy).
My only excuse is that during the cold spell, it was freezing at home because of the bad windows, my fingers wouldn’t bend properly, and it was hard to hold the stylus, haha (I probably should’ve chosen a cold-blooded animal as my fursona instead of a monkey, because my body temperature often matches the surroundings, and when it’s below zero outside, I go into hibernation, and this is almost not a joke).
But finally, spring is here, and I can live again (in winter I die from the cold, and in summer from the heat (heat is still better than cold), so the in-between seasons are my favorite part of the year).
I have a lot of ideas and I want to do a few more requests, so hopefully, there’ll be a lot of new stuff in the gallery soon! Though it’s a bit hard to get back into the flow after such a break, I want to believe in myself OwO
I enjoy writing notes and summarizing things—I find it quite therapeutic—so sorry for the ramble. If something important pops up in the journals, it’ll definitely be in the title.
In the meantime, I’d like to wish everyone a happy start of spring and a great day!

Take your time after the break, you need a little runway to get back to your usual tempo :D
Hey, by the way, I was wondering if you would like to do a simple art-trade? My style is really different from yours, so it's okay if you don't want to~
Thank you! I feel like I’ve been slacking off enough, so it’s time to pick up the pace! :D
Actually, I’d be really happy to do a trade, especially since I’m in awe of how you draw those sharp teeth—so I’ll write in the notes now for the details!
