I've begun serializing my next work through Patreon, a fantasy fat fur novella titled "Thick as Thieves." The novella takes place in and around Evington, the setting of my earlier fat fur novel "City of Gains." It's not a direct sequel, though, and follows new characters as they navigate the fattening dangers of the cursed city. Currently it's expected to be 13 chapters long. As usual, the first chapter is available for everyone to read, whether they're a patron or not. The remaining chapters will be exclusive to Patrons. I will eventually do a final draft of the novella and self publish it at a future date (I've challenged myself to start self-publishing the backlog this year, as other projects have delayed that.).

Here's a synopsis of the novella!

The thieves Kard and Clive are always seeking to improve their skills and their lot in life. When Kard's infamous uncle and master thief Jed offers to apprentice the pair, he can't believe his good fortune. The fact that their apprenticeship will bring them to Evington, a city afflicted by a powerful fattening curse, doesn't bother him. After all, blubbery targets are easier targets. And how hard could it truly be to avoid gaining weight?
