Exciting news! (for me anyway)

Each day I'll get a little better...
I finally landed an internship doing IT stuff!
Those of you keeping up with some of my IRL troubles know that I've been working on getting a job with IT or something similar after quitting my retail job about 8 months ago.
It's definitely been a big risk, going unemployed for a while to pursue some certifications and hopefully get my foot in the door somewhere doing something I actually have some passion for. (I've always liked tinkering with computers since I was little, and I'm sure as hell not taking an actual art job. I'd burn out faster than a firework on the 4th of July here in the States)
Fortunately, after a longer break than I intended, I found a program that trains for an IT badge, and offers paid internship opportunities!
Fast forward to today, and I have completely drained all of my savings and credit lines just to cover bills, but interviewed to intern at a local place and I start next Mon!
It really couldn't have come at a better time, as I really had no hope of surviving another month of bills. I only make so much from commissions, and the stress from being at home, unemployed and dead broke, made it really hard to focus on art.
I cannot describe in words how relieved I am to be starting this internship next week. It pays, I get to learn how IT works on the professional scale, and it gets me out of my room regularly!
And thankfully, it's a structured schedule with weekends off! The seemingly random shifts working retail were getting annoying to plan around.
All in all, it's the little light in the darkness giving me the hope to keep going right now.
I know that, as usual, I'm very inconsistent with my art, making a ton of stuff in a short amount of time and then falling off the face of the earth for a while. But I hope that this will be the first step to regaining control in my life, and in turn, more art!
So real quick, I just wanna thank everyone who enjoys and supports me and my work! You guys really kept me going during some dark moments recently.
And of course, more art is still on the way! With less stress on my mind, I'm focusing on finishing up a new model and I'm got some good stuff lined up after that, so keep an eye out for that!

But thank you! I'm excited to see what the future has in store, hopefully more of both 3D yiff and IT stuff!
Can’t wait to see more as always. Keep hoping! The future is looking good. :)
