So.. I am planning to hand off my tablet to my mate, Lixy, for her to fix in a week or so since she's not only a tech nerd but also has the tools needed to fix it. It's always had a disconnection issue that never resolved no matter how many times I replaced the cords and stuff so she believes it is most likely a loose connector than needs re-soldering.

Lixy is also moving back to her home state since our friend can no longer house her (at least until September) due to a sudden job change that requires him to move to a different state in August and the lease to his apartment ends in May so he has to move back to his parents' place too for a bit. We also can't house her due to the cramped and horrible living conditions so.. we don't really know what to do. We did plan to move in with her once we've got things managed here so.. is just unfortunate all around. xwx

(To be honest, if anyone can house her until August or September, we'd be eternally grateful. Lixy doesn't want to end up back at her parents' place and we also want her to actually have a chance to do things since Texas is not a great place to live in, financially.)

Either way, I might re-learn how to draw traditionally while the tablet is gone, when it is. Been... 11-12 years since I've drawn traditionally so this'll be interesting.
