I like the anthro ones myself.

I definitely lean strongly toward feral for mons, digi or poké. Don't mind anthros for either, though, but it's a very case-by-case type thing (like anthro Zorua is a little more strange looking to me than say, anthro Nidoking, you know?)

Anthro myself, because it adds more depth and creativity to the Pokemon, rather than just being traditional.

Nothing wrong with traditional, granted, but the Anthro leaves more room and opportunity to explore and be creative.

Anthro pokemon, traditional is fine too but you can only go so far where anthro means different body shapes and more

I prefer the traditional pokemon forms with sentience.
So many pokemon don't really work when turned anthro, like the bottom-heavy charizard or the sleek and slender Milotic.
Offers more fun and variety. Plus some fun size difference depending on what pokemon it is.

I personally like both variants depending on the context of the drawing happening or which mood I'm in why I cave my more smaller pokemon characters I own an anthro form

I like both, yes. For the clothing and the job, I personally following the Pokemon's natural behavior and their type. For example, If their type is Fighting, they can be a fighter, personal trainer, physical educator, etc.

Mostly because some traditional Pokemon are anthro, and have proven in the anime that they can have jobs. There's over a thousand Pokemon now, so it seems like an unnecessary step, IMO, to make a mon anthro when there are so many who are anthro by default.

Technically all Pokemon have sentience. If anything, I think what mean to say is "sapience", which I think varies depending on species.

But to answer the specifics of your question,

It depends on the species.

I think I prefer anthros in most cases, though some species can do fine without, while some are fine either or.

Example: Incineroar is pretty anthro in design already, so can work either or.
Ursaring I think works better as is than anthro, but maybe that's my personal bias speaking.
But Ursaluna on the other hand, that's a different story. I think Ursaluna works both ways!

Also, if you're gonna make them anthro, it makes more sense to give them clothes to help differentiate between anthro and non anthro. It's not like you won't be drawing them naked during sexy time anyways, right?😆

I like them on the anthro side. It is nice seeing how they would look when they have an anthro form while still keeping their traits like meeting certain conditions to evolve where leveling up is the equivalent of aging and still keeping their powers/moves. I have seen artists with Poké sonas, most notably Zourik, and it’s cool seeing people’s take on it
