Dear all,

This journal has been a long time coming, and there isn't a point in the last three years that I haven't looked forward to this announcement. After much brainstorming, writing, and yes, many IRL disruptions, the date is almost here. I just uploaded the final beta test build of 0.2 to my server. >9,000,000 characters (1,500,000 words) of code, countless hours of work, and all of it will soon be out. I sincerely hope that it will have been worth the wait.
