Tornado/brush with death
I live in south central Missouri.
One of the tornadoes that touched down here narrowly missed my house.
I could feel the debris against the metal siding along with hail
I spent an hour huddled under the kitchen table because I don't have a storm shelter. If it had veered two miles to the north I might not be here.
I am safe but shook to the core.
lot of folks to the North in Rolla and out towards Bakersfield and Springfield were not as lucky. Many lost everything. Some lost their lives.
Local flea market's roof got torn off.
Storm crumpled an electral sub station like a kinex set.
Just really happy to be safe.

They are way less unpredictable and you have more time to batten down the hatches. We are unbelievably lucky If it had shifted a mile to the north we would have had a large number of casualties. Not to minamalize the situation because a lot of folks lost everything.
