Hey there, everyone.
Before you ask, I know I didn’t write anything for last week. Partly so I could leave the birthday post warning in case anyone missed it. Another reason is that I’m thinking about doing more exclusive Patreon content, this one that shows more on the world-building and backstories of the Legend of the Fox’s casts. I only got one down, but I plan on writing more.
And yes, today is my birthday. Right now, I’m 33 years old. To think that years fly by faster as an adult. I also thought I might be selling novels by this point. Then again, it might be best not to rush things. Besides, I’m still catching up on the lost time.
Regardless, I’ll be sharing stuff I’ve gotten as gifts. I’m sure you’ll see or read two when you read this post. I hope that you love them just as much as I do.
On the writing side, I have two rough drafts ready for final drafts. The first one, which I intend on getting posted on Lycanroc Day on March 18th, I should be working on either today or tomorrow. As for the other story, I have no idea when I’ll finish it. It depends on outside factors.
Finally, to finish this post, here’s a story I recommend—Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett.
The Discworld is a flat planet carried by four elephants on the back of a gigantic space-turtle. It is fantasy world that acts as a reflection of our Roundworld. And there, Death is forced under retirement by Auditors of Reality for growing too attached to humans. So, he decides to spend the time he has left on the world as a hired farmer.
Meanwhile, as new personifications of Death form, the Discworld becomes wonky. Well, wonkier than usual because Death is not there to guide the decease.
Terry Pratchett was one of the great writers of our times, and I don’t say that lightly. He was a man who could write meaningful, thoughtful stories while being hilarious at the same time. And while he did not write as many stories involving Death (unironically one of my favorite characters), I feel they are among his best work.
“In the Ramtop village where they dance the real Morris dance, for example, they believe that no one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away—until the clock he wound up winds down, until the wine she made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone’s life, they say, is only the core of their actual existence.”
-Reaper Man
In any case, take it easy out there!

Happy birthday, Daren ^w^
Second, hearing the name "Discworld" somehow gave me a heads up that a group of people who created an audio format was inspired from "Discworld" itself. I don't read books very often, but there have been great authors in the past who have made great books if you ask me. Seeing you read and find books is similar to another user by the name "ConfusedKangaroo" on deviantART who she actually mentions and brings up books she does critiques on of books she's read on a weekly/monthly basis.
