VideoShrinker (and other utilities i've programmed!)

First and foremost, I was mad about discord having a 10MB size limit for videos so I made an explorer extension that lets you compress videos quickly by just right-clicking and selecting "Shrink Video". I figured it's really useful so I cleaned it up and uploaded it so anyone can use it.
It also doubles as a simple H.264 re-encoder if you want to quickly compress your clips and recordings (uses ffmpeg).

It's a self extracting executable so it might be flagged by some antiviruses, but the program is completely inoffensive. If you don't believe me you can just check the sources on github. And secondly, I finally made a blog where I can post all my utilities and programs and computer tech tips in general. I generally do that randomly on twitter/bluesky/tumblr but I figured this is a more organized way to keep them somewhere they can be found later (and tumblr is pretty dead)
Anyway, if you want to download any of my older apps (Like the stopwatch app, or IDEKTray, the internet checker tray app thing) you will find them there!

I literally made it back in the day so I could time how long it takes me to do sketch, lines, flats, and shading, each individual step, but one thing led to another and I ended up turning into a fully fledged productivity timer app hahah
It's inspiring to me as I'm trying to learn Python to set up some automation for me preparing posts. Seeing a fellow artist do programming for very practical utility like what you did is pretty awesome!
It should still be available in the google play store, but I suppose I could also post the APKs so people can sideload them, considering google play now has all these silly updated API requirements...
For now they should all be on gamejolt still, I haven't touched that place in a hella long time, but they should still be there!
