Agreed, the retro simple design makes it clearer to see the actual artwork and images that's posted.
What are you currently trying to figure out?

I see a lot of profiles with colored text, and icons and stuff. Idk how to do any of that sorta fancy customization yet

Don't worry, if you go to support on the top, 'help & support' then go to 'tags & codes' you'll find the codes you need to type in to make your text coloured.

Example: type [color=blue ]text[ /color] to change it, but without the spaces. I did that so that the text wouldn't actually turn blue.
