Terms of Service for Artwork Commissions

1. Introduction:
By commissioning artwork from Randwulf, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below. These terms ensure clarity and fairness for both the client and the artist.
2. Services:
- Artwork commissions are tailored to the client's specifications, as discussed and agreed upon prior to starting the project.
- Requests that fall outside the agreed-upon scope may incur additional charges.
- For YCH (Your Character Here) artwork, the base template is predetermined, and clients provide their character's details to be incorporated into the design.
- For custom commissions, artwork is designed entirely from scratch based on the client’s unique requests and preferences.
3. Payment Policy:
- A 50% deposit is required upfront before work begins.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion and approval of the artwork.
- All payments must be made via PayPal unless agreed upon beforehand.
4. Revisions:
- Clients are entitled to ONE revision during the process, unless agreed upon beforehand.
- Additional revisions beyond this may incur extra fees.
- YCH commissions are subject to limited customization and revision based on the nature of the template.
- Custom commissions may have more flexibility for revisions, but extensive changes to the original concept may incur additional costs or cancellation of the comission if the request is unreasonable.
5. YCH Artwork:
- YCH (Your Character Here) artwork is created using a pre-designed template.
- Clients must provide accurate and clear references for their character(s) unless agreed upon otherwise.
- Changes to the base template are not permitted; adjustments are limited to incorporating character details, unless agreed upon beforehand.
- Final YCH commissions are non-refundable after delivery, given their customized nature.
6. Custom Commissions:
- Custom commissions involve a fully original design tailored to the client's unique vision.
- The client must provide detailed references, descriptions, and any other materials to ensure the artist’s understanding of the request.
- Design consultations may be provided to clarify and align on project details.
- Complex requests may require additional time or incur extra charges, as discussed in advance.
- Final custom commissions are non-refundable after delivery.
7. Copyright & Usage Rights:
- The artist retains copyright of the commissioned artwork.
- The client is granted non-commercial usage rights unless stated otherwise.
- Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires prior agreement and may involve additional fees.
- For YCH commissions, the template itself remains the artist's intellectual property, and its reuse is limited to this commission agreement.
8. Cancellation Policy:
- If the client cancels the commission after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable.
- The artist reserves the right to cancel the project at any time for unforeseen reasons, with a full refund of the deposit to the client.
9. Delivery:
- Completion and delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on project complexity.
- Final artwork will be delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed.
10. Confidentiality:
- The artist agrees to keep project details private unless authorized to share them.
- The client must not share drafts or unfinished versions without the artist's consent.
