why did you drop Subscribestar?

I didn't drop them, they un-existed my account. And that isn't a euphemism or a cute way to say they banned me; no, they literally got rid of my account and everything attached to it. And it wasn't just me, it was a number of other artists who had been posting cub and stuff like that there for years without any issue. And then all of a sudden a few months ago it wasn't okay and they started suspending users. I got an email pointing out only one of my posts has having a "controversial character" and to fix the issue. I replied back asking what was controversial about it and how to fix it. They never replied. Even after I asked tens of time over the next months, they just ignored me. Then they just deleted my account. No explanation. So fuck them.

As much shit as patreon gets, at least when something similar happened they didn't just ignore me and delete my account; they told me exactly what they had a problem with and how to remedy it. And once I did, everything was good.
