Twenty years I've been begging to find out what's wrong with me. Twenty years of struggling and fighting and failing and now I finally know what's wrong with me.
Myalgic encephalomyelitis, also known as ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or Yuppie Flu (we don't use that last one any more since it's derogatory).
I won't get better. That's probably the worst part. Realistically, with a recovery rate of just 10%, and me having this condition for 20 years, I'm not going to get better.
I've got to get a house move out of the way in the next couple of months, after that I can make adjustments. Right now I've got to keep working and doing my best. I've got to ask you all to be patient with me while I get through the next few weeks.
Honestly the BEST thing you can do to help if at all possible is throw money at me and spread the word. Sympathy is lovely and all, but money is the thing I need more than anything else so that I can take some time to rest.
