Transformation POV style?
I'm writing a new tf story and I was wondering what people's overall preference on point of view style is for a story. Do you like 1st person (I transformed), 2nd person (You transformed), or 3rd person (He transformed).
Just curious how people feel. If there's a huge preference one way or another it might influence how I choose to write stories in the future.

I prefer 3rd person over 1st person. Don't remember ever seeing 2nd person but it to ould be nice.

Good to know, thanks. And yeah 2nd person is pretty rare. I mostly see it used in CYOA and games.

I tend to switch around depending on the mood, but I try to use third and second person as much as I can, seeing that I have a lot of characters that aren't necessarily me.

Thanks for your input. I think that's pretty much how I feel too.

never been much of a fan of 2nd person, so 3rd is my preference. The only time I've seen 1st work well was when it was a particularly long novella and you had time to go through all of the emotion and impact of the transformation over a long period. Otherwise there's not much point and you might as well stick with 3rd.

You know, that's a really good point about first person I hadn't considered. You're absolutely right, there really isn't enough time in those short tf stories to really get into the mind of the character which is the whole point of a 1st person POV.
