Commission Price Update

NEVER GIVE UP!...
(--AS A NOTE I AM NOT OPEN FOR PUBLIC COMMISSIONS RIGHT NOW -- COMMISSIONS I AM WORKING ON ARE PRIVATE COMMS -- PLEASE DO NOT NOTE ME, AND WAIT FOR THE COMMISSION NOTIFICATION TO OPEN ON MY PAGE HEADER BEFOER ASKING ME FOR COMMISSIONS. THANK YOU!--)
This is Just a heads up that I am raising my Commission Prices as of today.
I have recently Been taking oncommissions again and I've realized... For what I do, I think my time and effort is worth more than I give myself credit for. I now have a better idea of how long projects take me and how much my ability is worth to others, so, I think it's reasonable that I go ahead and raise my prices accordingly. It will go along way in keeping me motivated on what I'm drawing while also allowing me to work at a more reasonable pace without feeling like I need to fight the clock.
I've discussed it with others I know who take commissions and personal friends and I think I've found a reasonable price range for what I offer.
The new prices are as follows---
Characters
-$40 for sketches-
-$60 for lined art-
-$80 for colored flats-
-$100 for flat shading-
-$120 for soft/complicated shading & lighting. -
-25% off per tier for extra characters.-
-$5 per character for colored line art.-
Extras like, plushies, fancy diaper designs, etc, are $10 and up depending on complexity.
Backgrounds
-$40 Simple low detail backgrounds.-
-$100 and up for full backgrounds (depends on work time requirement.)
---
As a side note. At some point I plan on making a price list diagram with visual examples that I can pin on my page, that way I can give people a better idea of what they're getting...But, for now, this is what I got.
Thank you and I wish everyone a wonderful day!

Thank you for the heads-up on your pricing, and I agree with you- Artists should be paid what they're worth!
Lemme see what I can do with my piggy bank in the next few months.
