One year of learning

As of this month it's been a whole year since I started learning to draw, although I wish I could be more positive and upbeat about it.
This year has been tough. I was hoping it would be primarily engaging with the community, building myself up and hopefully someday getting ready to do commissions in the future. However instead, I have been plagued with harassment.
After I started postinf on bluesky, furaffinity, discord and twitter I've been targed with harassment from others using fresh accounts, I can only assume that someone has taken offense to my interest in learning to draw, also might be in part to my increased activity compared to past years. however, that is just speculation.
I have seen the kind of stories that people have manufactured, are heart breaking that someone would go to such lengths. The fact that others would celebrate and encouraged rumor baiting to the degree that someone feels the need to attack another is not okay.
I have indeed made mistakes, and I have owned up to these mistakes, however the things being said are a far cry to what I had done. Not only that, it was an isolated incident a nearing decade ago, and not everyone is perfect, and going after others like this for their mistakes is deplorable. With that being said, there are two sides to a story,
Nevertheless, I am not giving up on art, however I am going to seriously consider whether I want to do commissions or not for my safety. As this harassment, as well as other situations genuinely makes me feel unwelcome in the community of love, acceptance, and tolerance.

You will always be in good company with the people who wants to help you and get you om the right track. One year is a lot and continue to learn more, your art has really improved.
But there's certainly plenty of folks who want to see you succeed! It's been a treat getting to see your art improve over the year, and even more exciting to see where you'll go next with it!
Sure this year will probably have it's own host of troubles, but even so there'll be much to look forward to, whatever it may be! Take care of yourself, and wishing you the absolute best of luck with your future endeavors! ✺◟(＾∇＾)◞✺
I sure hope that there are those who genuinely wants to see me succeed, with the bullying and harassment, i feel cornered and it almost feels those who want to see me fail out number the people who want to see me become successful.

I agree with the others though in that your art has greatly improved over the last year!
