A situation and a hatchday

So if you haven't been following my bluesky, I've been in a bit of a pickle for the last week or so. On Saturday around 3:30 PM my power went out in my apartment. This was a concern but not a huge deal. Until it stayed down the whole day, then the next. Building management says it's probably going to be down until the 11th. I've taken refuge at a friend's house and now have my workstation here with me so I can get back to work asap, but this whole situation has been incredibly harrowing. But hey I can work on commissions again! So maybe consider buying one? ^^;
On the other hand, my birthday is on the 7th. I'm going to do a doodle/hang out stream at the usual time this friday (tomorrow), and just chat with people who wanna chat. If anyone feels like getting me a gift or making a donation to my paypal (not necessary) I will accept them. I don't normally like to take donations but since it's my birthday I figure it's okay.
That said, if you want a regular sketch stream sketch, you can wait until the 11th where I will (hopefully) be doing a celebration sketch stream, at the usual prices :)

Well it turns out this happened to two other buildings in January and yet another building last year. And it may be that the building manager tried to fix the first problem with an excavator and probably damaged a bunch of stuff. At least that's what I've heard from my landlord. Our lease isn't with the managers though. Just my landlord so it's really up to him to compensate us for this issue I guess? (We've been negotiating and stuff but he seems sympathetic and suitably pissed.)
