honestly i wanted to look into mastodon but the way it's set up was confusing since it's not centralized but so many sub groups it made me not wanna try it yet

Ahh it's not too complicated, but only positive thing I can say is making posts on it make a difference with your hashtags and what not - sites like Twitter/Bluesky work if you have a following else no one will see your posts ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)b
