All Quiet

You might have noticed that I haven't been posting as much as I was last year, and haven't been taking commissions, so I thought I'd explain why so people don't think I've completely dropped off the face of the planet. There are a few reasons.
- For the past number of months, I've been battling some depression, which has put quite a bit of a damper on my art output. That's the main reason. I'm on antidepressants and they're helping, but there are still good and bad days.
- While I'm proud of how much I accomplished last year, I feel like I also might have done a bit too much and felt a bit burnt out.
- I've been unhappy with where I'm at in terms of my art skills, and want to dedicate some time to trying to improve my style and drawing abilities. This means that for a little while, a lot of what I draw is just going to be internal practice stuff that I won't end up posting. Hopefully when I start to return to more regular posting, it will be with improved style.
That said, I'm not completely stopped. I've got one more commission on the way, plus I've got a second inanimate TF game in the works and am working on developing my next comic, so there will be stuff coming in the future, just... not yet.
I appreciate the support of everyone who follows me. Your Favorites, Follows, and Comments help keep me going <3

I'm also proud that you're improving your art style! It takes courage to dedicate effort towards improving at something, especially when you're already quite talented at it! I'm sure your effort to improve will only make your artwork even more stellar.
And I totally get you about burn out. It's way too easy to assume that because you are having fun and are being super productive, that you aren't going to burn yourself out. But that's how burn out gets ya! You feel fine until you crash out. Take care of yourself and remind yourself to take breaks even when the going feels easy.
I also wouldn't feel too bad about being unhappy with your current level. Looking back at old work and feeling unhappy with it is a sign your skills and standards have improved. It just means the next things you create will be even better!
Take as long you need to find your footing and relax. Looking forward to what comes next!
so don't go too hard on yourself; you're doing good. we can wait
Good luck with battling your depression and improving your skills.
I'm looking forward to your next game. I'm still playing your TF Tag a lot and am looking forward to see what you come up with next.
