Hey guys!
It's been a while, I just wanted to post a general update journal, since I've been trying to make more time for art, these days.
A lot of big changes have happened in my life over the last few years, and things have been tough. But I've been working on building things back up again, and learning to work with the chaos instead of just hoping it will all be over one day. I won't bore you guys with all of the details, but just know I will hopefully be a bit more active in the community again and maybe even starting up the occasional stream or two~
One thing that has made it a little bit difficult to post here might be hard to understand, since I know this community has always been a very open and accepting one. But I've struggled with feeling like my personal brand has been built on an extremely feminine persona (even the name Owlette is pretty feminine). I know it doesn't really matter that much, but I tend to be pretty avoidant about things that give me anxiety, unfortunately. π©
About 5 years ago I came out as trans-masc nonbinary to my friends and family in my personal life, and since then I've become happier and more comfortable with my identity. I go by they/them pronouns and consider myself agender. It's something I've always aligned with ever since I was a child, but didn't really have the courage to be more open about until about 5 years ago (I even have receipts: look how sad I was about being "forced" to be girly in this meme from 15 years ago~ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/4122008/ ).
Eske will remain exactly the way she is, since she's developed into being her own OC at this point, but I'm working on designing a new official fursona that fits the real me a little better. Unfortunately I believe it's still not possible to change my username, but most people call me "Owly" rather than Owlette already, which is my preference!
Question for you guys:
Since I will be trying to make more personal art and could always use more fun ideas and lewd situations to put my characters in, what are some themes you'd like to see in my gallery?

i'm biased but as a certified bondage enjoyer ™, that stuff is always great to see! personally i love seeing lighthearted things like ruaidri's bondage museum series and your take on it

As for a name change, I thinkkkkkk it's something that's possible under their 'new' FA subscriber thingy? I'm not 100% sure (haven't needed to look into it myself), but I have seen people with different names pop up while also having the 'I paid for FA' sign next to their name, so I'm pretty sure it's possible now if you wanna shell out for a month of that? Might be worth doing? (assuming I'm correct and not just miss-seeing things x3).
Either way, makes a lot of sense, and hope you can get things sorted so you are comfortable! ; v; b

But yeah, I see it is part of the 'up and coming' additions, but maybe there's a trial run for folks? would be worth it for sure ; v ; b of course!
(also just noticed the added question, but 'boobs tities and butts, those are my favorite' xD, another quote, but yeah XD anything bondage related is fun to me, accentuate da curves, show off restrictions, that's all da good stuff to meee! >//>;b )

No matter the reason, your own comfort comes first and foremost, and if you think you needed that time then that's absolutely okay! ^^
As for your question... well, I'm obviously a bit biased towards bondage, teasing, denial, duh :P But wholesome and cute scenes are just as welcome~
I definitely want to do some teasing and denial, that's one of my favorites~!

As for possible ideas, dragons are always great, mabey something with toothless (or any other night fury) in my opinion there isnt nearly enough bondage art of them
As for what I'm looking for, honestly your style's lovely be it cute owl boys all tussed up or an apple on a plate. I'd say go wild and follow your gut when it comes to new topics to delve into~!
Last: as it's going to be your personal art, that means that your preferences are what should have most influence on ideas
As for the name situation, how would you feel about creating a new account? I know you'd lose a few of your less attentive followers who didn't realise you'd got a new account, which would suck, but if you did journals and a pic or two about the move, I think you'd get most of us joining you on the new account.
As for the question, I agree with others that you should definitely draw what makes you happy, but I'd be lying if I said your vore and paw stuff wasn't a particular favourite of mine! (This might still be my favourite of your pieces - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16970168/ )
I definitely still love drawing paws, so that is absolutely on my agenda!
I never thought about incorporating my alien/monster art in with my bondage art! That's honestly an amazing idea!
You;ve always done amazing birds and bondage as far as Iβm concerned.

As for your question - dragons and nesses, bondage, denial and edging and teasin, and lots of your wonderful shiny latex and rubber<3!
Edging and denial has been one of my favorites lately, and dragons in latex is ALWAYS a favorite of mine. So I definitely have that on my agenda!
I was lucky enough to get some art from you in the past when the opportunity was there, and it's still one of my most cherished pieces! Thank you for being so patient with me during that process back then.
As for what I love seeing the most from you. When it was a panda flashing her pawsoles off on a bed that made me first find your stunning artwork and gallery. Some of my most favorite bondage pictures were drawn by you. So uhh, paws, bondage... paws in bondage...
When it comes to the themes we would like to see, I would spin that around right back at ya and ask what are the things you love to draw the most? What idea did a commissioner ask you to draw that made you excited and motivated to work on the piece? I always love the finished works the most when you can tell that the artist was putting a lot of heart in it as a labor of love!
Paws and bondage are two of my favorite subjects, so I definitely plan on doing more of that. I think more than anything I just love to draw dragons, though -- doesn't really matter to me what they're up to, just that they're dragons!

Life is funny like that over all; very chaotic and you never know what's coming your way. Have missed chatting with you, and hope to catch up again some day!
As for ideas and such... I'm still very much in the paws camp, so anything with I assume a new Owly in that department is my vote. Regardless, I'm just thrilled to hear that you've been well and that my feed will start having your art again~

And am very glad to read all of that as well, along with bondage. As I'm the odd one that prefers all of the "sfw" versions of those two things when available xD Maybe once things calm down some on both our ends, if you have commissions open and I have the funds, we can make sure to get some of that into your gallery~ I have a new gal you'd probably adore toying around with, and long story short, a boyfriend that wouldn't mind seeing art of his sona as well~
