In case you don't know, The Cave runs on the Quest 5 engine, which is approx 8 years old at this point. The guy who made it recently came back to it to update it and his website at textadventures.co.uk! The Beta version of Quest Viva is out already, and it can run ANY of the older text adventure games already made. This means the whole online-version is massively upgraded: it's less buggier, there's SO much less latency, losing connection doesn't kick you out of your play-session anymore, and audio now works on the mobile version too!!

Two things I've noticed that are different is the bar at the top of the screen is now blue instead of grey (like I set it to), and the spacing of text seemed to have increased from 1.0 spacing to 1.5. This will make some of the longer scenes (such as reviving Xaine) start off the top of the screen, which I'll need to fix in the next update. Either way, the upsides are way too good all things considered!
