i think you should get the HD5770 at Wal-Mart they usally cost about $213

walmart barely carries any computer components, go with Newegg.com

I Also suggest the ATI HD 5770, Price for the performance it will last a good 2 years too boot.

Do not get an NVIDIA (no DX11).

The HD 5850 is an extra 100 (is it worth it) What games are you trying to run.

I want to run the latest games (llike mw2) on high settings on an HD panel , also be able to use up to 3 panels .

They both should run the latest games and both support up to 3 displays. The 5850 is way faster than 5770 (5850 all the way if price is not a problem). If you want to save €100 the 5770 is a good choice.

You might need a PSU upgrade (Minimum of 450Watt for the 5770) (Minimum of 500Watt for the 5850). If you are going to overclock it you will need 600+Watt PSU.

The GTX 280 is 20-25% more powerful than the HD 5770 but it also uses close to twice as much power.
Minimum PSU requirement for the GTX 280 is 550Watts.
The GTX 280 has No DX11.
Max Monitors Supported on the GTX 280 = 2.
The HD 5850 is faster than the GTX280 and it is almost the same price.
