Im going to delete many files from my google Drive since they are quite unorganized and its occupying a lot of space too o/
So if you haven't either download the file or made a digital copy i suggest you doing it :0

theres a shared files section on google drive that has a quick view of all files youve opened from folk. however its still just a link to your original file. Clients would need to make a copy of the file in their own drive, or download it. So as you suggested, if a client hasnt saved a file youve sent them, itd be in their best interest to do so before its gone.
