This wasn't a spur of the moment decision in the middle of the night on a silly whim. It was a calculated decision in the middle of the night... with some whimsicalness to it.

See, for the past 17 years I've gone by Trapmagius. Wow, that's a really long time isn't it? But from time to time over a decade or so I've thought "gee, it would be nice to change that name and separate the character from the artist a bit". Having to start over from a new account is what kept me from doing it in the first place. So, having a name change be a thing was a pretty cool feature to roll around.

So is anything going to change? No, not really. I'll still keep drawing stuff (even if it's a complete snek binge at the moment). There's no malice, no bad feelings, nothing negative. I just needed a breath of fresh air. Trappy will still be there, I will still be a goober, things will continue as they have.

There has been some confusion and a little worry, especially on Discord. I mean, I get it. It seems like a completely irrational spur of the moment thing to do something drastic like this. But unless there's a big backlash or I just end up regretting things, this is how I want to proceed. Yes, you can still call me Trap or Trappy if you want. :3
