Okay, so I'm seeing the new names thing in effect, and honestly, I have some concerns.
Yes, of course, it's going to take some getting used to, and being averse to change, yes, I'm uncomfortable with it... people I've known for years are going by aliases I'm unfamiliar with, but honestly, that's just me.
The REAL Problem is, this has the potential to result in some serious identity theft problems. If the actual names are close enough, a misleading alias could have some scammer masquerading as well-known artists... or even profitable little-known artists
Am I just being my usual paranoid, or is anyone else seeing a danger here?

Rochndil, still the same as ever...
Uhg... SOOOoooo many I've seen do EXACTLY That. *Facepalm emoji here* TRY a name for a bit before fully buying into it and see if it's a comfy fit before going all-in changing everything only to realize it was just a phase and now you dun like it after a week of trying to be known by the new name and all the folks that you know and care about still call you by the old name anyhow.

For the would-be scammers thing, yeah, there needs to be some sort of FR;FR deterrent that will make impersonating someone not worth the risk.
