There are always people who has just found the furry fandom right now, and the chance for that your character they see first is there!
Usually newcomers are the most excited getting into the fandom therefore the most 'loud'.
Those who are already in the fandom for like years, they've calmed down and just chill not so loudly.

Basically what you're experiencing is just a natural phenomenon, it happens to everyone who has decent number of arts in their gallery. :)
