The site being in stasis has me actually, for once, kinda yearning to Be Online and actually engage with people. How are your Fridays going? :)
I promise the reason I pretty much only post art and comm posts is that I just have such a low tolerance for Posting Content outside of Patreon. I'm only on 2(two) sites, this and bsky, and it's tiring! idk why! I can't even think of a good counterargument if someone were to call it laziness on my part.
Twitter's enshittification really took the air outta me ig. I really liked that place, and still follow literally thousands of amazing artists, but I cannae go back =n= Should I post crops there like I did for a bit, or just chuck it into the ether altogether? (I do keep retweeting cool art)
anyway I do have a lot that's ready to be made public, when FA and I are feeling up to it!
Right now I just wanna play monster hunter ough,hhh,,,, vibeo game,,,, monster hgame,,,
I'm rewatching Evangelion wit da polycule and it's a lot of fun. Did you know they grabbed people from the local theater scene in Houston to dub it back in the 90s? hell yeah (it's so dated lhgfhdj)
I saw Geordie Greep in LA last night; he even played Dangerous Liaisons and I 'bout fainted from happiness

As far as social media networking for your business: If you're going to use twitter, just post notification links and cropped thumbnails driving traffic to a different site (y'know, like a bunch of people do with patreon teaser images here if they don't really want to be on here mainly but still want to engage the audience.) At least then you can let people know where to find your work primarily if anything since there are in fact users who will not leave twitter and its still highly trafficked and you've got business reasons to consider as an artist. Otherwise if you still can't stomach being on there, do it on bsky -(honestly, if you're using postybirb, do it there as well regardless.)

I feel like you either like being online or not, like, it's a skill/environment on it's own somewhat parallel to the idea of socializing in general. as in you either are introverted or extroverted (no chat that doesn't mean doing cocaine at parties vs reading books with ur cat)
I think people tremendously overestimate what is happening on twitter, like I'd lie if I'd say it got better in any sort of way but anyone who has or had a bad relationship with twitter or social media in general, especially on a platform where you are a very very nieche audience (furry artists) is all depend and on your own engagement with it and the amount of cognitive behavior issues you have People think the same of FA too ...
But I'm not american so I partaking in ethically consuming every single piece of media you are confronted with is just not my thing B)
