There was a long time ago around like 2010. But it released at the wrong time when FurAffinity was at it's most popular. So it failed and disappeared into the abyss of dead websites on the internet.

latest update from Sciggles says that they're halfway through the data copy process (13TB out of 27TB) so probably a day or two, though I'm willing to bet their server will get hit hard and potentially slow down (or even go down) with the influx of people uploading at the same time when uploads are re-enabled

I was pondering that situation today. When FA finally "opens up" again, it would be prudent if they increase the wait time between uploads to something like 15 mins (instead of 30 secs), that way it can throttle the impending upload flood coming. then after a few days they can change it back to normal.

I wonder if they can selectively turn off read-only for like 20% of users at a time, and then progressively roll that out over 24 hours. I don't know if their system supports anything like that though.
