I've been mostly using Bluesky, I considered trying to upload to insta but idk if it's even worth trying to build an audience when it's owned by a company that's so pro AI it might not be a viable art platform for that much longer... I stopped uploading my art to tumblr back when the porn ban happened, I'm still half and half if it's worth trying to post my sfw art there or not -_- I keep forgetting about itaku, it's so hard to re-establish yourself in new places

Instagram has never jelled with me, though I try it every now and then :v If it gets the AI ick like DA/X it may just put me off altogether weh

Itaku's really good in terms of being an actual dedicated art site. Supports high res art just like DA and Newgrounds, and it has a great folder system for organization too. I wouldn't say BlueSky, Twitter, Tumblr, or any non-gallery site is a replacement for one; they are really only supplemental. But remember, from the viewer's perspective, all of those kinds of non-gallery sites make the viewing experience terrible, especially on BlueSky and Tumblr, since they don't even have a grid view. Scrolling one by one, and having to scroll past shitposts does not make a good viewing experience for those just trying to see your art.

I definitely love the folders and grid view with Itaku, I can't keep up with having to scroll through a feed all the time...

Tag blacklist system, submission and user blocking system for people who's content you don't care for,a no human porn policy, fairly stable, fairly easy to use.

I use FB, Bsky, Discord, and here.

If you want a gallery though here and DA are probably your best options.

just FA and Weasyl but lately I've stopped caring about whether I upload my drawings anywhere or not.
I just share it to friends who actually care, or to a Discord if it's fanart from a game I like.

I used to have drawings, music AND the rare story all right here...it made my gallery such a mess.
I decided to post stories solely to Weasyl, and they are easy to read with the .pdf support.

I literally just use here for gallery stuff, bluesky for general posting, or sheezy.art
the lattermost is for sfw stuff pretty much though

gallery sites are so few and far between now...

for me, tumblr is just blogging. like a personal site for all sorts of posts and organizing. I mostly jsut... use it for portfolio posting, liking posts and inspiration, and i skidaddle LOL
