Well for starts Ive given up on Truespace and have found the joy of Blender 3D https://www.Blender.org . Blender not only has better Hair simulation and skeletal tools but is way more stable.
Ive just posted my first truly from scratch singel mesh figure "female of course".
The pic I recenty uped is still a wip. Ive used pices of a seris of sketches called Bare Cowgirl by Chalo aka Chalodillo artist of the wounderful LasLinda web comic and of many works here in his own gallery http://www.furaffinity.net/user/chalodillo/ .
