FA+

Far as summer goes, going to try and start trade school for becoming electrician and going to a con later in the summer. :D
Without diving too much into my private life, I’ll just talk about what I’ve been up to lately:
After a long break, I’ve started making YouTube videos again. I want to focus on something unique: combining philosophy and pop culture. Many people tend to separate the two without realizing how much they actually overlap.
I’m looking for someone who can create a logo and some thumbnails for me. The channel is called "Kulturelle Freiheit" ("Cultural Freedom").
Now to a more serious topic: So Trigger Warning
I’ve also started diving deeper into self-defense, particularly against knife attacks and possible defense strategies. My motto is: “I am always prepared.”
So I’ve been doing some research, especially on self-defense methods that are legal. A commonly emphasized strategy is: “The best fight is the one you avoid” – meaning it's often better to flee and escape the danger.
I’ve started watching a few specific videos on the topic. A masked YouTuber who goes by the name "Einsatz Coach" shows just how devastating knife wounds can be, demonstrating the effects with a training partner.
Some highly experienced people have also commented on the subject, which is quite rare in Germany: former MMA fighter Stefan Pütz, as well as ex-kickboxing world champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Eric Gold.
Both of them admitted that even with their professional background, they couldn't fully protect themselves from a knife attack. Just one cut can be deadly.
These videos reportedly gained international attention – despite being in German.
Another participant was a former member of the German police special forces (Spezial Einsatzkraft/SEK) named Kuni. With his background, he knew what to expect in such a scenario.
While the others reported a strong adrenaline rush during the simulated attack, Kuni remained surprisingly calm.
It’s pretty shocking. But considering the current statistics – 34 knife attacks per day in Germany – I think it’s definitely time to start preparing seriously.
As Einsatz Coach always says: "Bleib safe."
