Reoccuring Dream
This is a little off what I normally post...
But when I sleep, my dreams have plots, ones that will interweave with other dreams I have. They have plots, and lore that build on each other.
There are many different "settings" for these dreams. Post Apocalyptic, Scifi, Modern, 1950s, Cyberpunk Etc...
But there are the Early Dreams, those with the largest built up world, There are towns, and cities.. but there was one part that shows up, but doesn't exactly fit in with the plot.. It is reoccurring, but maybe once or twice a year, and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable.
I am standing at the oceans edge while there is extreme low tide, allowing for the things forgotten and lost are seen again, but the ones that give me real sense of unease are large rusted chains that lead out into the water. Touching these chains, the rust cuts into my hands and they are so cold they hurt to hold, and yet I feel a need to have to reel them in, but with each link pulled in, I feel a growing horror at whatever is at the end of those chains, that they must NOT be pulled in, yet I am unable to stop reeling them in, for they do not belong there in the ocean.
I then wake up shaking, and will feel off for the rest of the day. Early on in these dreams the sealife was weird, strange organic growth that very much now that I know such things I could call eldritch, but as time goes by these horrors have subsided, yet the chains remain.

Another reoccurring one is being out on the water, come across an old rusting submarine, and for some reason have to go inside and get stuck.
The more common dreams I have lately are waking up on a colony ship from cryostasis and find the ship in a decrepit state and having to navigate it.
Or an ongoing dream where its post apocalyptic and I am having to go to different facilities to reestablish some kind of network
