◦════════════════════════════════════════════════◦ Hey guys! I know it’s been a little bit since I’ve written, but I’m here to give an art update as the semester finally winds down for me!
As you’ve noticed, by posting and production have taken a nosedive (more than usual) as of late, and as I move on with applying to further schooling, working full-time this summer, and the other busy things circulating in my life, art has had to take a backseat. I am no longer at a point where I can take commissions, or Patreon subscriptions on the regular, and have come to terms with myself that this is no longer the responsible move to to, and have commissioners suffer the wait times that I never want to make the regular (as they have been lately). Because of this, I’ve decided that I will be moving into a semi-hiatus with my work.
What does this mean exactly? I cannot take on any regular commission openings any longer, nor continue to run my Patreon rewards tiers as they once existed. I will be taking a further step back from art, and working on personal pieces and honing my style (all which will be posted!) for the time being. I’m not saying a complete no to commissions, as occasional YCHs, work for friends and trades could pop up if time permits, but no more public openings at this time.
This is a decision I don’t take lightly, and I’m sure you all don’t want to hear. Exciting things are happening in the background for me, but unfortunately its caused me to now take a big step back from the artwork I love to do. Truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your steadfast support, for always believing in me, and giving me so much grace and understanding with timelines. I truly appreciate it more than you could ever know! Thank you friends!
