It's been a while since I've done anything social on here. Figured I'd give a little info about myself for those who aren't familiar:

My name's Payne. I'm a 30-something year old artist from the rural American midwest. My pronouns are he/they. I went to uni in Los Angeles, and have a bachelor's degree in biology (focused on avian ecology). Currently, I sporadically open for artistic freelance work but, due to disability, I don't work for long periods.

My first love in life is animal care-taking. I've done a few wildlife rehabilitation and education gigs in the past. I own two cats and a macaw. I love chitchatting about the latter!

Artistically, I have a bit of formal education, but am self-taught in most media I use. I'm largely a digital 2D/3D artist, with a particular interest in character-focused art, original stories, and low fidelity visuals. I have some training in traditional drawing and oil painting.

Overall, I try to maintain a chill space, even if I'm not a very talkative person.
