hi!! it's been a little while. how are you??? how are things? it's been a wild year so far. I hope you're doing alright. lord knows it's been a weird one.

i've been alright, all things considered. I've been doing a lot more art recently... it feels good to actually make stuff again. I have more to post in the near future. I've recently scored some actual professional commission work for the first time in my life!!! I got to see my art physically printed out and on display in a public setting like a week or two ago. I can't describe how cool that's been for me. really that in itself was kind of a dream come true. as soon as I can confirm it's okay to share it, I'll post it here and elsewhere. I'm really proud of some of the stuff I've been up to lately, it's been so validating.

I'm currently or imminently working on a lot of new stuff. some owed commission work, plus a few bigger projects i've been hired to help with. i'm illustrating a TTRPG project... a few book covers. an album cover.... i'm getting involved in a comic book project????? i'm so hyped for that, you have no idea. lots of cool shit to come, plus my own projects I've been cooking for quite a long time, finally taking some kind of shape after years of toil. I have been quiet but I've been BUSY.

its mayternity... I dont even remember the last time I would have participated in it. it must be years by now. I think about it every year, but I rarely have the time or energy to commit to it. I've missed doing it, its a fun silly lil thing that I enjoy looking at from a distance annually. I've actually really wanted to do another growth drive... I did the one, once, ages ago, and I don't think I ever totally finished it. I quickly realized I'm really not interested in drawing like... CRAZY hyper preg. big is fine+good but I definitely have my limits. I have wondered if it would even be something people would be interested in if I were to do one but like... maybe imposing some limits on size. maybe more donations = more cute scenarios??? like just do Andy again, but milestones are just her doing cute mom shit and getting a lil bigger each time. it's also already pretty far into May.....i work quickly, but i dunno!!!! tell me what you think. i want to engage more with this subject matter + this community, but I honestly don't know where to start a lot of the time. being an online artist can be hard!! socializing is hard! i dont know what i'm doing.
