My situation has drastically changed FOR THE BETTER!

Now, this is a bit bittersweet. I got news that my grandmother is in a decline and has moved into hospice. My dad doesn't have the resources to get me to Minnesota by plane, and neither do I. A great friend reached out today and asked if I would be interested in bunking with him and his family. They live in Michigan and I would be within range of my family. My dad likes to drive, he's a trucker, he's got no issues popping over to Virginia so Michigan is just a quick hop.

Talked with my buddy at great length today about concerns, logistics, and various arrangements. Seems like one of those things that everything lines up so unbearably well and clear that it would be stupid to not take the opportunity. Call it God's will if you must, it's blatantly obvious I need to do this.

So, what does that mean for my job?
Well, I get a brief break. I'm paid up at my current residence so I'm good to go. It looks like next weekend is gonna be the move time and we're gonna ball it out in a solid 18 hour drive. Oof, but I've done longer. The trip is all expenses paid. I will have to adjust my diet for travel mode a day or two ahead of time and prepare. Gotta be safe on the road.

Buddy quoted me a cheaper rent as well, only charging what they need, and won't charge the first rent so I don't have rent due on the first. I can save a bit, but more importantly, I can CATCH THE FUCK UP!

So that's the latest and greatest. I'm keeping my job and all that so art is yet to come. The week is still business as usual. But with extra cash and all that, stress will be better. I can also grow my Patreon, I want to do that. Oh, and Southpaw as well. That's been going well too.

I will not be taking new commissions for a moment, well maybe a few for expenses but nothing major until next month. Gotta catch up, I don't many opportunities like this.
