I don't usually order rendered/shaded pieces. I love flat colored sketch pieces the most. I usually gravitate towards more sketched/sketchy pieces rather than clean lined pieces. I've been wanting a new reference sheet for two of my sonas but want their styles to be more of that flat colored sketch feel. I would be super interested in ordering if that was an option.

No need to apologize at all! Part of the reason I did the discounts that I'm currently doing is because my flat colored sketches weren't selling at all and I thought that people just didn't want them, they wanted more completed pieces. It's really hard not to get discouraged when everything you put up at even a sale rate, no one wants. I can do sketch refs for you for sure, I just wouldn't want to price them lower than what the discounted prices are on my retro sale because my retro sale is already at or below my normal sketch and color pricing for everything, especially refs. If you'd like to pay the same price for refs as my retro sale but I sketch and color it I could do that?

I think it's a competive time right now with other people being affordable and then there's a huge gap so its either affordable or entirely out of budget if that makes sense. I love shaded and rendered pieces but I dont have 200 to spend on one so I go out to multiple people for quoting, same for everything ive ever bought like would it be amazing to have that kinda money hell yeah it would but a lot of us dont so the higher priced artists who dont have a huge reach, we juat can't afford it <3 I had to be on a 4 month pay plan just for a refrence and like if artists did that more it could potentially help people to get art from the pricier artists

It definitely is, it's why at my normal prices I offered payment plans, and why I put up such a dramatically decreased price for a sale yesterday, just no one seems to want what is even below the cheapest I'm honestly willing to go for the amount of work that I do for these commissions. It's really disheartening even though I know that it's not anyone's fault, life is just hard right now in this economy.
