Is it just me ? (Raffle observation)
I've noticed in raffles a high percentage of winners are high-profile people with large followings. (I'm not accusing anyone of foul play, just observing.) I know there's an equal chance for everyone, but it sometimes feels strange. I just wanted to express that thought.

there is always the possibility of foul play of course, artists rerolling if it is someone with no, or little following, or not a friend. since the art itself may not draw much attention

wont always happen but always the possibility, and that will skew it in one way

You're not dreaming. Same goes for national lotteries. Where the winning tickets are down south in the larger cities which doesn't support the math for possible winners. If you buy tickets in a large city you're far more likely to win. For example in Canada Alberta almost always wins the big lottery pots followed by Ontario. For the number of population and tickets sold this is very skewed for winning to be there that often and always the biggest pots.
