I hate to do this, and I don't normally do it, but I don't know what else to do at this point but ask for help...Things have been hard, I've been struggling a lot over the last year or so to get commissions in, and we have been able to get by by the skin of our teeth, but things are worse this month especially. My husband took a pay cut, and because of the tariffs they cut his hours on top of that. All of our bills so far for the month other than the car payment have gone onto a credit card, rent is coming up and even with his whole pay check and what I have made so far we are 400 dollars short and that's not even taking into consideration that we need to get food for our family. I really need to make money guys, and I'm doing everything that I know to do to try to but nothing is working right now. I'm honestly panicking, I've got 2 kids who need a roof over their heads and food in their bellies and I don't know what to do... I'm really scared, I don't think that things have ever been this bad for us, things have been tight, but not like this. If you could just spread the word about my commissions it would help immensely. I get my work done, I've never had any disputes with customers over payments/getting their work in a timely manner or anything like that. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
UPDATE: I have made enough for rent this month thanks to some amazing commissioners <3 Thank you all so much for helping me spread the word! I am still open for commission forms but requesters may be wait-listed until I can finish what I currently have on my queue as I don't want to make people wait too long after paying, and I don't want to overwhelm myself with too long of a queue. Thank you all so much for your support!
