I mean thats nothing new, its been illegal to BUY sex work here for all my life but new ruling has "updated it to keep up with a digital era" as well, and now you can get prison time for buying sex chats, private camera sessions, and similar. I'm trying to figure out if this covers sexual art and commissions as well, because if it does I am FUCKED six ways to sunday. Sure I got a new jobb comming up that offers a decent pay and steady hours, but I wont be able to commission art with that pay, nor would I be able to get back into taking nsfw commissions again; Which is part of why I've been able to keep my home for all these years while struggling to get a damn steady jobb.

Its patrionising nonsense that isnt going to protect anyone, is going to push allready exposed and vulnerable people into WORSE situations. People who do sex work for survival reasons will be forced underground where lack of transparency and oversight is gonna get them into even deeper problems. The socdems who suported the law cited "Direct links between sex work leading to more severe forms of prostitution, drugs, and trafficking" and yeah, Berit, I'm sure it Does That if you make it illegal to do it so that the people who do it has to do it rubbing shoulders with people who is primed to take advantage of them.

I'm mad as hell about it.
